Role Overview

This full-time position entails working Monday to Friday, 40 hours weekly, with an annual salary reaching up to £44,000 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and direct daily warehouse operations to consistently meet customer service standards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Mentor and lead Operations Supervisors and warehouse staff to enhance performance and engagement levels.
Champion a robust health and safety culture, ensuring all practices align with company policies and legal mandates.
Track operational metrics, analyze data to identify areas for improvement, and implement initiatives to boost productivity, quality, and efficiency.
Foster strong partnerships with customers and internal teams to uphold high standards of operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Coordinate labor schedules and allocate resources efficiently to address fluctuating business needs.
Lead continuous improvement efforts utilizing Lean principles and best practices.
Ensure adherence to operational workflows, quality benchmarks, and contractual obligations.
Contribute to the achievement of business goals through strategic planning, problem-solving, and sound decision-making.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Operations Manager within warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environments.
Strong leadership skills with a history of coaching and developing high-performing teams.
Expertise in managing KPIs, service level agreements (SLAs), and customer expectations.
Excellent communication abilities and competency in stakeholder relationship management.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach.
Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Commitment to continuous operational improvement and excellence.
Capacity to perform collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced workplace.
