Role Overview

This full-time position entails working Monday to Friday, 40 hours weekly, with an annual salary reaching up to £44,000 depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct daily warehouse operations to consistently meet customer service standards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Mentor and lead Operations Supervisors and warehouse staff to enhance performance and engagement levels.
- Champion a robust health and safety culture, ensuring all practices align with company policies and legal mandates.
- Track operational metrics, analyze data to identify areas for improvement, and implement initiatives to boost productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Foster strong partnerships with customers and internal teams to uphold high standards of operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate labor schedules and allocate resources efficiently to address fluctuating business needs.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts utilizing Lean principles and best practices.
- Ensure adherence to operational workflows, quality benchmarks, and contractual obligations.
- Contribute to the achievement of business goals through strategic planning, problem-solving, and sound decision-making.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager within warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environments.
- Strong leadership skills with a history of coaching and developing high-performing teams.
- Expertise in managing KPIs, service level agreements (SLAs), and customer expectations.
- Excellent communication abilities and competency in stakeholder relationship management.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Commitment to continuous operational improvement and excellence.
- Capacity to perform collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced workplace.
