Role Overview

This position is for an experienced blue-collar operator who can support or run a production line or machine in the manufacturing of medical device products. The work must be carried out in line with fixed specifications and standard operating procedures. As part of the shift team, the operator owns machine performance during the shift.

Key Duties

• Follow EOGL health, safety, and environment standards at all times.
• Run equipment and production processes efficiently while keeping operations under control through the required standards.
• Operate, set up, monitor, and troubleshoot supporting equipment such as printers linked to the main machine.
• Perform machine tool changeovers where applicable, except for tools that require expert technical handling.
• Make sure the required materials and resources are available so the machine can operate effectively.
• Protect product quality by checking against specifications on a regular basis and rejecting or blocking non-conforming output when needed.
• Prepare and maintain all required records and data files, whether digital or manual, including BMRs, in-process inspection reports, loss data, process failures, machine failure logs, and other organizational records.
• Take ownership of rework for quarantined material produced in the shift and ensure it is cleared within the same shift whenever possible.
• Handle process failures and resolve them with support when required.
• Share shift constraints, feedback, and learnings in a constructive way.
• Support investigations related to CAPA, complaints, and other deviations within the assigned scope.
• Maintain strong Good Hygiene Practice and Good Manufacturing Practice standards.
• Communicate effectively with the previous and next shift, as well as with relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor and guide team members on the packing line connected to the machine.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has a high school education plus ITI or a diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering, along with at least 4 years of experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment. The role also calls for strong written and verbal communication skills in internal settings, the ability to take initiative, and readiness to work in shift-based operations.
