About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Verify and inspect passenger documents thoroughly.
- Issue boarding passes and assist passengers whose flights are disrupted or cancelled with rebooking.
- Handle passenger baggage processes including fee assessments where applicable.
- Support passengers through arrivals and check-in, especially those requiring special assistance such as unaccompanied minors, VIPs, and wheelchair users.
- Guide passengers through Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine as needed.
- Make public announcements when necessary.
- Coordinate with Ramp Service Agents to ensure availability of wheelchairs, strollers, and gate-checked bags during departures and arrivals.
- Adhere strictly to all federal, state, municipal, airport authority, carrier security protocols, and Swissport policies and procedures.
- Operate equipment including jet ways, computers, and carrier-specific ticketing software.
- Complete all required work documentation accurately.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Candidate Profile
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced work environment.
- Attention to detail with a drive for continual improvement.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Ability to follow structured processes with adaptability when necessary.
- Proficient typing skills and the capacity to learn airline-specific ticketing software.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Fluency in spoken and written English; bilingual is a plus.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage of $18.62.
