Role Summary

The Pattern Master will convert design ideas into precise garment patterns for activewear, with a strong focus on fit, comfort, and manufacturing readiness. This position involves developing and revising patterns, evaluating sample fits, and applying technical changes based on input from design and production stakeholders. The role also requires working with sampling, cutting, and stitching teams so that patterns are production-ready, while keeping pattern documentation and grading standards up to date. In addition, the role includes reviewing garment construction, resolving fit and construction challenges, and recommending improvements that support better quality and efficiency. This is a full-time on-site position in Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities

• Create new patterns and update existing ones for activewear styles based on design requirements.
• Review sample garments, assess fit, and make technical corrections as needed.
• Work with design, sampling, production, cutting, and stitching teams to ensure patterns are suitable for bulk manufacturing.
• Maintain pattern records, sizing consistency, and grading standards across styles and sizes.
• Inspect garment construction details and identify issues related to fit or workmanship.
• Recommend practical improvements that strengthen product quality and production efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

• Deep knowledge of apparel pattern making, especially for activewear or performance wear.
• Practical experience with size grading, fit adjustments, and sample approvals.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with design, sampling, and production teams to meet brand standards.
• Understanding of garment construction, fabric performance, and the behavior of stretch materials.
• Exposure to pattern-making software or CAD-based tools is an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, technical decision-making, and consistency across styles and sizes.
• Clear communication and the ability to record pattern revisions and technical notes accurately.
• Experience in an apparel manufacturing setup or fashion house is preferred; formal education in pattern making, fashion design, or garment technology is a plus.
