Key Responsibilities

• Offer comprehensive advice throughout the employee lifecycle, addressing all people matters.
• Manage intricate employee relations issues including investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance challenges.
• Coach and develop leaders to confidently manage their teams and build leadership capability.
• Support organizational change initiatives as well as workforce planning strategies.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across geographically spread and operationally demanding business areas.
• Provide guidance on New Zealand employment legislation and navigate immigration processes as applicable.
• Monitor and analyze people trends and risks, proposing opportunities to enhance business performance.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience in HR or People & Performance advisory roles is essential.
• Proven ability to influence and build trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience working alongside leaders in multi-site, complex operational environments.
• Strong expertise in employee relations including handling investigations, disciplinary procedures, and managing change.
• Thorough understanding of New Zealand's employment laws and practical applications.
• Competence in advising or managing immigration processes within New Zealand.
• Excellent communicator with strong coaching and problem-solving talents.
• Ability to juggle competing priorities while delivering pragmatic, business-oriented solutions.
