Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time Pricing Manager to be based onsite in Gandhidham Taluka, Gujarat. This role involves creating and updating competitive pricing models for global shipping and logistics offerings, aligning them with market trends, company objectives, and profit margins. Key daily tasks include analyzing freight rates and cost elements, preparing bids and quotations, reviewing contracts with carriers and vendors, and overseeing profitability on essential trade routes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain competitive pricing frameworks tailored to global shipping services.
• Analyze cost structures and freight rates to support strategic pricing decisions.
• Prepare quotes, tenders, and proposals in collaboration with internal teams.
• Review and assess contracts from carriers and suppliers to ensure favorable terms.
• Monitor profit margins across important trade lanes and suggest adjustments.
• Work closely with sales, operations, and finance units to aid in negotiations with customers.
• Respond to customer requests for quotations and proposals (RFQs/RFPs) effectively.
• Keep abreast of market trends, updating pricing tools and databases accordingly.
• Recommend pricing modifications to remain competitive and mitigate risk.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong analytical aptitude including pricing analysis, cost modeling, and margin optimization.
• Proficiency with Excel and other financial/data tools to build models and reports.
• Familiarity with logistics, freight forwarding, global shipping processes, trade lanes, Incoterms, and contract frameworks.
• Experience coordinating with sales, operations, and finance to support commercial decisions and negotiations.
• Excellent communication abilities for clear presentation of pricing proposals.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines concurrently.
• Preferred: Previous pricing, revenue management, or commercial experience within logistics or supply chain sectors.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Logistics, or related disciplines; supply chain/logistics certifications are advantageous.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, onsite environment making data-informed, market-responsive decisions.
