About the Role
Join the team at a leading parcel delivery operation in Wellington as a Processing Officer working Sundays from midday to 8pm. You'll operate forklifts to sort, consolidate, and dispatch parcels at the Kaiwharawhara Road facility, preparing shipments for courier distribution. This role requires hands-on forklift operation experience combined with adherence to strict safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize forklift equipment safely to move and organize freight and parcels.
- Ensure parcels are accurately sorted and consolidated for efficient dispatch.
- Support team efforts to maintain a secure and productive workplace.
Candidate Requirements
- Availability to work Sundays from 12pm to 8pm.
- Valid forklift endorsement (F endorsement or OSH certificate) with prior forklift experience.
- Competency in computer skills, including email, MS Office, and reporting tools.
- Physical capability to lift weights up to 25kg and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Good attention to detail and sound geographical knowledge.
- Team-oriented attitude prioritizing safety for self, colleagues, and site.
