Role Overview
The Product Analyst will contribute to shaping the future of payment authentication as a member of Visa’s Global Authentication Product team. The focus will be on delivering Visa Payment Passkey, an advanced authentication solution integrating technologies such as FIDO, EMV 3DS, and tokenization to enhance secure and seamless consumer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in formulating product strategies, roadmaps, and project execution for designated areas and initiatives.
- Engage with regional teams and clients to gather input that guides roadmap priorities, product vision, and market launch plans.
- Develop clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Authentication, Identity, Technology, and others to design and implement scalable authentication solutions.
- Work in conjunction with governance, sourcing, risk, legal, and compliance units to ensure proper review and authorization of new products and enhancements.
- Coordinate with product managers, engineering, and business stakeholders to enable disciplined progress and timely delivery.
- Create and maintain product specifications, integration guidelines, release notes, and other documentation.
- Monitor post-launch adoption, performance metrics, and identify opportunities for product iterations with marketing, client success, and regional teams.
- Report on project status, risk factors, action plans, and provide recommendations to stakeholders including senior leadership.
- Produce concise educational materials to inform internal and external audiences on product features and implementation standards.
Note: The role requires working onsite a minimum of three days per week, with specific office days to be confirmed by the hiring manager.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree or an advanced degree such as a Master’s, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD.
Preferred Experience
- Over 3 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree or more than 2 years with an advanced degree.
- Product leadership experience in financial services, particularly related to payments, money movement, or similar domains.
- Knowledge of risk management and compliance within financial sectors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities aimed at process improvement.
- Proven ability in developing and implementing product strategies aligned with business goals.
- Experience identifying market and business opportunities as well as creating business plans for new offerings.
- Track record in ensuring product alignment with organizational objectives and collaborating cross-functionally with systems, marketing, and sales teams.
Compensation and Benefits
For U.S.-based applicants, the salary range is approximately $123,000 to $190,900 annually, potentially including sales incentives, bonuses, and equity opportunities.
