Production Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Production Manager with 8 to 12 years of experience specifically in the Pharma, Medical Devices, or Medical Instruments industry. The role is based in Mira Road, Mumbai, and offers a monthly salary ranging between ₹60,000 and ₹70,000. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical engineering background and extensive expertise in production planning, process optimization, quality assurance, and safety protocols.

Primary Responsibilities

• Plan, oversee, and monitor daily manufacturing operations to ensure seamless workflow.
• Enhance manufacturing procedures to boost productivity, uphold quality standards, and reduce costs.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma techniques to streamline processes.
• Diagnose production problems and perform root cause analyses to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure compliance with established quality guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with maintenance, quality assurance, procurement, and supply chain departments.
• Track production goals and guarantee the punctual delivery of products.
• Maintain accurate production records and champion ongoing improvement projects.

Candidate Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years of production management experience in Pharma, Medical Devices, or Medical Instruments sectors.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing workflows, production systems, and ways to optimize processes.
• Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Proven leadership abilities, excellent communication aptitude, and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Competence in managing production teams and meeting operational objectives efficiently.
