Production Support Engineer

Position Overview

We are looking for a Production Support Engineer who will efficiently handle support operations integrated with DevOps processes. This role requires expertise in system debugging, deployment, and monitoring using various tools for both Linux and Windows environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide effective communication across teams and stakeholders.
• Manage production support aligned with DevOps practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues primarily on Linux platforms.
• Perform production deployments ensuring stability and reliability.
• Utilize Splunk for service level indicators, error budget analysis, query creation, alerting, and building operational dashboards.
• Configure and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Monitor batch jobs to ensure smooth processing.
• Work with Windows operating system environments as part of support tasks.
• Programming knowledge, preferably in Python, to aid automation and scripting tasks.

Candidate Requirements

• Good communication abilities.
• Experience or familiarity with production support in DevOps contexts.
• Skills in Linux debugging.
• Experience with the Splunk platform and its associated technologies.
• Hands-on experience with production deployments.
• Understanding of CI/CD configurations.
• Basic programming experience, recommended in Python.
• Capability to monitor batch processes effectively.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems.
