Your Role and Impact

As a Project Coordinator, you serve as a crucial operational link within ground improvement projects. Your responsibility is to ensure that projects are planned, organized, and executed effectively, meeting schedule, budget, safety, and quality standards. Supporting the Project Manager, you will coordinate documentation, resources, and communications among clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams. This role requires technical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and a strong organizational mindset in construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Manager and Sales Manager with preparing, organizing, and submitting tender and contract documentation, including contract review and compliance.
  • Support Project Manager and Operations Lead in project mobilization and execution by managing scope, schedules, resources, and pre-mobilization documentation.
  • Coordinate with GeoSolv Site Supervisor to develop daily work plans and communicate updates to Operations Lead and Project Manager for effective implementation.
  • Collaborate with Quality Supervisor, Site Supervisor, and clients to create sequence maps and detailed installation plans ensuring all piers are installed per approved designs and tracked on project drawings.
  • Arrange on-site services like locates, surveying, and daylighting.
  • Contribute to detailed cost estimates, oversize calculations, and boundary assessments relevant to ground improvement projects.
  • Manage initial material orders and ongoing tracking of consumables such as stone, concrete, fuel, helicals, and specialized hardware.
  • Coordinate subcontractors including onboarding, training, setting expectations, and performance monitoring.
  • Regularly update project progress and report to management and stakeholders clearly and promptly.
  • Make site visits to support client meetings and ensure proper project completion.
  • Prepare and monitor project schedules, handle invoicing, progress payments, lien rights, and change order documentation.
  • Track project expenditures against budgets, flagging any discrepancies early.
  • Maintain detailed records of all project activities for compliance and auditing purposes.
  • Review and approve invoices related to materials, vendor services, and other project expenses.
  • Assist in procuring bonding and insurance certificates appropriate to project requirements.
  • Support payroll processes, timekeeping, labor and equipment coding, purchase orders, and safety-related documentation.
  • Work closely with Quality Control Supervisor and Design Engineers to resolve design issues, change requests, material defects, and equipment problems promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards including arranging safety training and certifications for project personnel.
  • Conduct periodic site inspections pre-construction and during execution to verify adherence to plans and regulations.
  • Review construction plans to confirm alignment with applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances.
  • Promote teamwork, adaptability, and accountability within the project team while fostering creative problem-solving and effective communication among subcontractors, clients, consultants, and internal staff.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • College diploma or university degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience coordinating projects in construction, preferably with exposure to heavy civil, geotechnical, or ground improvement projects.
  • Familiarity with design-build project delivery methods is advantageous.
  • Competency in construction documentation, tender preparation, and contract management.
  • Knowledge of construction-related codes, regulations, and applicable health and safety standards.
