Opportunity Overview
Join Qube Ports NZ as a Return-to-Work Coordinator, where you will play an essential role in managing workplace injuries and rehabilitation efforts nationwide. This permanent, full-time position is based in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, and offers a competitive salary aligned with your experience. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate return-to-work plans with managers, ACC/Wellnz, and healthcare providers to support injured employees.
- Oversee injury claim files to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct initial needs assessments with affected staff and maintain ongoing contact during rehabilitation.
- Monitor medical certificates, physiotherapy treatments, and related paperwork diligently.
- Facilitate first-week injury payments and coordinate with Payroll and People & Culture teams.
- Provide consistent updates to management on injury statuses and expected return dates.
- Assist with ACC audit preparations and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
Candidate Profile
- Exceptional attention to detail paired with strong organizational skills.
- Background in administration, particularly within health and safety or injury management contexts.
- Proven ability to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders and foster strong working relationships.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently while valuing team collaboration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior experience with ACC or workplace rehabilitation processes is a significant advantage.
