Role Overview

The Security Professional role involves safeguarding client premises, assets, and personnel by vigilant surveillance and strict compliance with security procedures. Daily responsibilities feature patrolling assigned areas, managing entry points, overseeing surveillance systems, documenting incidents thoroughly, and reacting swiftly to alarms or emergency situations. In addition, professionals in this role engage courteously with visitors and clients, provide clear directions, and maintain comprehensive activity and incident logs. This position requires full-time onsite work in Kingston, necessitating dependable attendance, a commitment to safety, and a professional demeanor.

Key Qualifications

• Strong competencies in physical security tasks such as access monitoring, routine patrolling, incident detection, and initial emergency intervention.
• Effective communication skills essential for precise report writing, confident use of radios and telephones, and courteous client and visitor interactions.
• Beneficial experience includes prior roles in security or law enforcement, familiarity with local safety legislation, and composure during high-pressure situations.
• A minimum educational credential of a high school diploma or its equivalent is preferred, alongside accessible transportation to Kingston and flexibility to cover shifts during weekends and holidays as assigned.
• High ethical standards, integrity, meticulous attention to detail, and the physical stamina to remain on foot and respond swiftly over extended periods are critical.
