Role overview
This opportunity is for a Technical Program Manager based in Ireland, supporting a partner company that will oversee the application process and all subsequent hiring steps. The role is positioned at the crossroads of engineering delivery and product direction in a fast-moving, AI-focused environment.
You will be responsible for coordinating complex technical programs across web platforms, data tooling, and AI-enabled systems. The role calls for a mix of strong technical understanding and disciplined program management to keep multiple workstreams aligned on scope, timing, dependencies, and outcomes. You will work closely with engineering, product, and design partners to translate plans into smooth execution from initial scoping through launch.

Accountabilities
- Take ownership of end-to-end delivery for complex technical initiatives spanning web products, data tools, and AI-supported features.
- Work with engineering and product stakeholders to define project scope, milestones, success measures, and practical delivery plans.
- Facilitate key program cadences such as planning meetings, standups, risk reviews, and retrospectives to keep work moving and aligned.
- Track inter-team dependencies, anticipate delivery risks, and put mitigation plans in place early.
- Prepare and maintain program artifacts such as roadmaps, product requirement briefs, technical briefs, RACI charts, release schedules, and post-launch reviews.
- Coordinate launch-readiness work, including QA preparation, rollout planning, observability needs, and incident-response alignment.
- Help improve delivery systems by strengthening estimation quality, release processes, throughput visibility, and communication routines.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in technical program management or a closely related role within software, platform, infrastructure, or developer tools environments.
- Comfort with technical concepts such as APIs, web architecture, CI/CD, cloud deployment, observability, and foundational security practices.
- Demonstrated ability to juggle several parallel initiatives in environments with shifting priorities and limited clarity.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to create structured documentation and concise status updates.
- Background in startup or high-growth settings, with a practical and action-oriented approach to decision-making.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, product, and design teams.
- Capacity to structure complex problems and drive execution from planning through delivery.
