About the internship
Basti Ki Pathshala Foundation is offering a remote, part-time internship for someone eager to support fundraising efforts that help expand educational access for children in underserved communities. This role provides hands-on exposure to nonprofit fundraising, supporter outreach, donor coordination, and social-impact work, while also helping build practical skills in communication, networking, and relationship management.
The organization is a government-registered body under the Indian Societies Act of 1860. It works at the grassroots level to reduce education barriers for children living in slum areas and marginalized communities, aiming to create a supportive learning environment and drive lasting change through education-focused initiatives, community participation, and partnerships.
What you will do
- Support fundraising drives and campaigns that raise resources for educational and community welfare programs.
- Reach out to potential donors, supporters, institutions, and community groups that may want to contribute to social causes.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective donors through consistent communication and follow-ups.
- Keep clear and accurate records of fundraising activity, donor interactions, and contributions received.
- Take part in awareness campaigns, donor engagement activities, and fundraising events organized by the foundation.
- Coordinate with the fundraising team to help meet campaign goals and strengthen support for the organization’s programs.
Who can apply
This internship is open only to applicants who can work from home, are available for the full 1-month duration, and can begin between 12 June 2026 and 17 July 2026. Stipend and incentives
The internship offers a performance-linked payout based on results, with incentive pay equal to 20% of the total funds raised by the intern. The stated stipend range is INR 1,500 to 15,000 as a lump-sum amount.
