Role overview
This is a permanent administrator position based in Witham, Essex, working on-site for a client in the area. The role is full-time, with working hours of Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. The salary is £26,000 to £30,000 per year, depending on experience.
Key duties
- Handle incoming phone calls and respond to customer questions and requests.
- Oversee the company vehicle fleet, including arranging servicing, repairs, and routine upkeep.
- Keep insurance systems and portals up to date, including Dart Charge, Congestion Charge, and parking applications.
- Prepare purchase orders and enter information into specialist software used by the business.
- Maintain reliable customer records and complete pre-qualification questionnaires.
- Assist other teams with administrative support whenever needed.
Required experience and skills
- Prior experience in administration within a busy office setting.
- Strong planning and organisation skills, with a close eye for detail.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and data entry tools.
- Able to manage several tasks at once and set priorities effectively.
- Professional telephone manner and clear communication skills.
- Willingness to work collaboratively and support colleagues across the business.
