What You’ll Do

You will partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to help keep projects on track from kickoff through closeout. The job centers on documentation control, coordination, scheduling support, and communication across stakeholders.

  • Keep submittals, RFIs, change orders, and drawing updates moving and properly tracked.
  • Maintain both digital and paper project records in a structured way.
  • Help manage project schedules, site logistics, permit follow-up, and client communication.
  • Draft weekly updates that include meeting notes, progress photos, and tracking logs.
  • Assist with LEED-related paperwork and coordination when needed.
  • Update project information in PlanGrid and Timberline, including drawings, submittals, and logs.
  • Coordinate third-party inspections and confirm supporting documentation is complete.
  • Collect closeout materials such as warranties, as-builts, and other final records.
  • Support purchasing tasks, purchase orders, and subcontractor coordination.

Qualifications

The role calls for a bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related discipline, or at least 4 years of relevant experience. Strong communication skills, solid organization, and the ability to handle several priorities at once are important. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is needed, along with working knowledge of Microsoft Project; experience with Timberline is an advantage.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000, with the final offer depending on experience.

Why This Role May Appeal to You

You’ll be joining a collaborative, fast-moving team focused on high-impact commercial interior work throughout NYC. It’s a good fit for someone who wants to learn, grow, and contribute to meaningful construction projects.
