Role overview

The Global Creative team develops and shapes the concepts, campaigns, and visual assets that define the Brooks brand across print, retail, packaging, web, digital, events, and more. The team is looking for an Associate Brand Designer to help produce marketing creative for internal and external brand needs.

In this role, you will contribute strong conceptual thinking, design talent, and attention to detail to a wide variety of projects. You will help create brand creative across multiple channels and ensure the work follows established brand standards and design fundamentals. The role spans OOH, retail marketing, owned retail, event marketing, direct mail, CRM, loyalty, brand partnerships, and other brand executions. Collaboration, adaptability, and clear communication are key parts of the job.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing creative for global and regional programs across web, CRM, OOH, events, loyalty, sports marketing, retail, brand marketing, and direct mail.
  • Develop presentation materials for meetings and internal events, including layouts, templates, and supporting graphics.
  • Build strong working relationships across Brooks to better understand the brand, business, and products.
  • Work with copywriters to turn ideas into concepts and assets that support brand and business goals.
  • Find effective design solutions quickly when timelines are tight or budgets are limited, while using feedback and established methods.
  • Keep building design, presentation, and strategic capabilities through hands-on work, feedback, research, and learning.
  • Contribute to improving team workflows and creative processes.
  • Manage schedules, files, and assets carefully to ensure work is delivered on time, on budget, and ready for review and production.
  • Support other designers and help with additional graphic projects when needed.

Requirements

  • A portfolio that shows strong layout, typography, conceptual thinking, and the ability to work within a brand system across different formats; applicants should include an online portfolio link at the top of the resume.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 1 year of graphic design experience in an in-house creative team, agency, or similar setting is preferred.
  • Experience in digital and/or retail design is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of both print and digital design workflows.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign; After Effects experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of design and workflow best practices.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Solid project and time management abilities.
  • Comfort working independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • A positive attitude, a team-oriented mindset, and a desire to strengthen the Brooks brand.

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this Seattle HQ-based role is $29.38 to $44.10 per hour. Final pay will depend on relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
