Business Analyst

Overview

TreCom Systems Group, Inc. is growing its IT services team and is hiring Business Analysts for full-time roles in the greater Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area. These positions involve a hybrid setup with some onsite work.

What you’ll be expected to do

• Partner with clients to collect, organize, and assess business needs and requirements.
• Spot opportunities to improve business workflows and suggest practical, forward-looking solutions.
• Convert business goals into functional details that technical teams can build against.
• Create use cases, process flows, and user stories to shape the solution design.
• Use data analysis to guide decisions and track performance.
• Work closely with project managers, developers, and QA specialists to support timely and quality delivery.
• Support user acceptance testing and help with training or end-user assistance when needed.
• Track project status and share clear updates with stakeholders.
• Prepare concise reports and presentations for leadership.

Experience and technical background

• Solid grasp of Agile business analysis practices and Scrum principles.
• Hands-on experience with Scrum, Agile, Scaled Agile, and Kanban ways of working.
• Ability to manage and keep sprint and product backlogs organized.
• Experience turning client and product strategy into application requirements and user stories.
• Comfort documenting test strategy, test plans, test cases, and test execution results.
• Ability to evaluate and document business processes and system processes clearly.
