Role overview

This is an interview-based opening for a courier driver in Gravenhurst, Ontario. The role focuses on collecting and delivering parcels on a designated route, confirming that every shipment meets Federal Express Canada service standards, and handling related customer service tasks.

Key duties

• Carry out courteous and efficient parcel pick-up and delivery along an assigned route.
• Review shipments to ensure they match Federal Express Canada service requirements.
• Support customers through related service interactions as needed.

Skills, knowledge, and qualifications

• High school diploma or an equivalent educational credential.
• A valid driver’s license with a strong driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and move packages weighing as much as 150 lbs using the proper equipment.
• At least 1 year of customer-focused business experience is preferred.
• Must meet the minimum score on the required pre-placement driver assessment training.
• Helpful to have knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Good planning, organization, and time-management skills.
• Excellent customer service mindset.
• Comfortable juggling multiple tasks, working under pressure, and managing stressful situations.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules and holidays based on business needs.

Schedule and location

The shift runs Tuesday to Saturday, from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. The reporting location is the mobi dock at 1629 Winhara Rd, Gravenhurst.

Compensation details

This full-time courier role is paid at $22.60 per hour. The starting wage may not apply to internal employees.

Driving and selection requirements
