About the Role
John Paul Construction is expanding its Dublin project portfolio and is looking to appoint a Contracts Manager to support site-based delivery. The company emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and the use of modern methods and technology to continuously improve project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the project delivery team and take complete ownership of all stages of construction execution.
- Ensure projects are completed within the approved schedule and budget, with a clear grasp of the plan and cost framework.
- Work closely with the design team to coordinate design and installation activities.
- Promote a strong safety culture by applying safe working methods and following company and local health and safety requirements.
- Improve how the project team operates by introducing practical initiatives, adopting proven best practices, and finding efficiencies across the division.
- Oversee project staffing needs, making sure the team has the right capability, commitment, and motivation while also supporting the development and retention of future talent.
Requirements
- Established background as a Contracts Manager within the construction sector, ideally on large-scale developments.
- At least 15 years of experience in the industry.
- Strong working knowledge of construction contracts, legal language, and project management fundamentals.
- Well-developed negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal capability.
- Understanding of applicable legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
