Role overview
This opportunity is being shared on behalf of a partner employer, which will handle the application review and all subsequent hiring steps. The partner is seeking a Decision Intelligence Analyst in Ireland for a role focused on AI-driven decision intelligence. Rather than simply producing outputs, the work centers on checking that those outputs are coherent, well-reasoned, defensible, and suitable for real decision-making.
In this position, you will act as a quality layer for reasoning systems by assessing how decisions are built, not just the final results. You will partner closely with product and research teams to improve the reliability of AI judgment frameworks. The setting is analytical, research-oriented, and centered on structured thinking, with an emphasis on ongoing refinement. Your contributions will directly affect the trustworthiness of advanced decision systems, making this a high-impact role for someone who enjoys examining complex reasoning and improving how intelligent systems make decisions.
Key accountabilities
- Assess AI-generated decision outputs to confirm that the logic is sound, the reasoning is strong, and the overall result is dependable, including review of multi-step inference and how trade-offs are handled.
- Spot recurring breakdowns in reasoning, inconsistency, or drift, and record the patterns that weaken decision pathways.
- Create structured review methods and evaluation rubrics that help raise the standard of AI judgment over time.
- Help build training materials, including edge-case collections and structured examples that can be used to refine models.
- Set and uphold clear, measurable benchmarks for decision-quality outputs so they remain consistent and reliable.
- Work with product, research, and engineering stakeholders to ensure reasoning-quality improvements align with system development and roadmap needs.
- Identify broader logic issues early and recommend structured changes that strengthen the decision architecture.
What the role requires
- Strong analytical ability and the skill to deconstruct complex, multi-step reasoning in a critical and systematic way.
- Hands-on exposure to AI systems, decision frameworks, applied analytics, or other structured problem-solving environments.
- Capability to turn subjective judgment into clear evaluation criteria and measurable standards.
- Excellent writing skills with an emphasis on clarity, structure, and precise communication.
- Comfort handling ambiguity, edge cases, and incomplete information while still applying rigorous analysis.
- Relevant background may come from applied AI evaluation, consulting, economics, operations research, philosophy of logic, or similarly demanding analytical disciplines.
- A questioning mindset that seeks to test, refine, and improve reasoning systems instead of accepting outputs at face value.
Benefits and working environment
- Chance to contribute to advanced AI decision intelligence systems with meaningful business impact.
- Remote or flexible work arrangements may be available depending on the employer’s setup.
- Exposure to advanced AI research and collaboration across product and engineering teams.
- Compensation is positioned competitively and will align with your experience and skill level.
- Direct influence on the reliability and quality of enterprise-grade AI decision systems.
- A fast-moving, intellectually demanding environment that values learning and continuous improvement.
Application and hiring process
The application is reviewed through an AI-assisted matching process designed to evaluate candidates quickly, consistently, and fairly against the role’s core requirements. The system shortlists the strongest matches, and that shortlist is then passed to the hiring company. Interviews, assessments, and final decisions are handled by the employer’s internal team.

By applying, you acknowledge that your personal data may be processed to assess your candidacy and shared with the hiring employer as part of the recruitment process. This is done on the basis of legitimate interest and pre-contractual measures under applicable data protection laws, including GDPR. You may request access, correction, deletion, or objection to processing at any time.
Automated tools may also be used to support parts of recruitment, such as reviewing applications, analysing CVs, or checking responses for possible inconsistencies and verification signals using available information. These tools assist the recruitment team but do not replace human judgement, and final hiring decisions are made by people.
