Role overview
Goodstart Thornlie is looking for a full-time permanent Educator to join its team at 54 Geographe Way, Thornlie, WA 6108. This position offers hourly pay in the range of $33.83 to $38.10, plus superannuation.
The role is focused on helping children get the strongest possible start in life while you build a meaningful career in early childhood education. You will work closely with Senior Educators and the Educational Leader to develop and deliver high-quality learning experiences. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, inclusion, and creating an environment where every child feels supported and valued.
About the centre
Goodstart Thornlie is a welcoming centre with a long-tenured team, where many educators have stayed and grown their careers for more than 10 years. The centre is community-oriented and set in a quiet cul-de-sac. It has a culturally rich and inclusive environment, supported by multilingual educators and strong family relationships. The indoor and outdoor learning areas are thoughtfully designed and include a productive veggie garden and engaging play spaces. You may work in either the Nursery or Toddler rooms, and you will be supported by an experienced leadership team that values teamwork, growth, and educator input.

Requirements
To be considered, you need a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent. You should also have a solid understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards, as well as a current WA Working with Children Check.
