About the role
Kaam Bazaar hires blue-collar workers for quick-commerce, delivery, and warehousing openings. In this field recruitment role, you will actively source candidates from local communities and help place them into paid jobs.
Key responsibilities
- Cover a designated area each day, including markets, chawls, labour gathering spots, and transport hubs, to identify people who are open to work.
- Speak with candidates directly to understand the kind of job they want, what they currently earn, what physical tasks they can manage, and when they can join.
- Record each candidate in the Field Recruiter app, including location details and attendance, since the app monitors daily activity.
- Meet the daily goal for qualified leads and pass interested candidates to the telecaller team for the next step.
- Stay fully updated on open roles, including salary, job duties, and hiring criteria, so you can explain opportunities clearly and honestly.
What makes you a strong fit
This role suits someone who has previously done on-ground work such as sales, recruitment, collections, distribution, or other door-to-door assignments. You should be able to connect quickly with daily-wage workers, speak Hindi and Marathi confidently, remain on your feet for long hours, and work independently with a strong target orientation.
Preferred background
- Experience in field sales, recruitment, collections, distribution, or similar street-level outreach work.
- Comfortable communicating in Hindi and Marathi.
- Ability to use a smartphone application throughout the day.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work without close supervision.
Additional advantages
- Prior experience with staffing or gig-work platforms.
- Ownership of a two-wheeler.
- Familiarity with Mumbai micro-markets and neighbourhoods.
Compensation
The pay structure includes a fixed monthly amount plus an incentive for each successful joiner. Typical market compensation for this kind of field sourcing role in Mumbai is around ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 fixed per month, along with incentives, depending on cost-per-hire expectations.
