Role overview

PepsiCo Beverages is hiring a full-time Delivery Driver based in Owen Sound, Ontario. In this position, you will help deliver well-known beverage brands to customers across Canada while working as a visible representative of the company. Compensation and schedule

The pay for this role is $35.35 per hour. The shift pattern is four days per week.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong, professional relationships with the main contacts at each customer location while representing PepsiCo positively.
• Deliver products on time, unload them as requested by the customer, and ensure deliveries are completed accurately.
• Prepare invoices and complete the daily settlement process for accounts.
• Load, rotate, and merchandise products to standard across different account environments.
• Create product displays and install promotional materials such as signs and banners.
• Complete all required documentation carefully and accurately.
• Carry out every assigned task safely and in compliance with applicable laws and transportation rules.

Working conditions and physical demands

• Ability to repeatedly lift and carry loads of up to 50 lbs across an 8 to 10 hour workday.
• Capability to move heavy loads manually and with support equipment, using strength, flexibility, agility, and coordination.
• Willingness to work in changing weather and temperature conditions and to drive safely in poor road or weather situations.

Qualifications

• Strong people and customer-handling skills.
• High School Diploma, Professional Studies Diploma, or equivalent.
• Valid Class 1 driver’s license in good standing with a clean and safe driving record.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle.
• Good physical fitness for the demands of the role.
• Self-driven mindset and the ability to work with limited supervision.
