  • Prepare and maintain key process records such as assembly sequences, work instructions, defect catalogues, rework concepts, test reports, process capability evidence, process specifications, risk assessments, and FMEAs.
  • Support the rollout of new technologies and accompany first article approval with suppliers.
  • Contribute actively to development projects, Value Stream Excellence initiatives, and line-optimization activities.
  • Lead small and medium-sized projects as part of the change-request management process.
  • Act as technology owner for at least four manufacturing technologies from standard, core, or key processes.
  • Take responsibility for at least one engineering method, such as DOE, REFA, Shainin, or Lean.

What you bring

  • A bachelor’s degree, diploma from a university of applied sciences, or dual-study qualification; ideally in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Alternatively, a technician or master craftsman qualification that provides an equivalent background.
  • At least five years of professional experience in process engineering, ideally in plant engineering.
  • Practical expertise in analysing and improving technical processes.
  • Hands-on knowledge of process and quality improvement methods such as Pareto analysis, basic FMEA, DFMA, Shainin, RedX, 5 Whys, and root-cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with lean management and Six Sigma approaches.
  • Strong project management capability and experience using statistical software to evaluate and improve processes sustainably.
  • A learning mindset, careful and dependable working style, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Assertiveness, teamwork, and strong communication skills.
  • A structured, proactive, and goal-oriented approach, along with a confident and reliable professional presence.
