IT Manager

Role summary

The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing business application operations and ensuring that key applications remain available and continuously supported through application support partners. This role also contributes to IT strategy and solution design so that technology aligns with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the company’s IT network infrastructure and day-to-day service desk operations, including administration and reporting.
• Track, coordinate, and review the service commitments delivered by application support partners against the statement of work.
• Set up and move processes and best practices into place to keep business applications accessible and to maximize user uptime.
• Supervise or carry out backup activities, system performance tuning, patching and upgrades, scheduled maintenance, and application or system validation in line with accepted industry practices.
• Serve as the escalation contact for vendors and users whenever issues arise with business applications.
• Monitor application licensing to ensure full compliance.
• Define quality assurance standards and prepare IT SOPs with regulatory compliance in mind, including 21 CFR Part 11.
• Apply project management discipline by planning, executing, checking, and acting on assigned tasks.
• Review issues and risks linked to task deliverables and develop mitigation actions.
• Work with stakeholders to collect requirements and secure approvals.
• Address data protection queries and provide guidance on compliance matters.
• Help ensure data protection obligations, rights, and responsibilities are understood and followed, while also driving awareness.
• Monitor GDPR compliance and support a risk-based approach to privacy and data protection.

Eligibility

This role is open to candidates who hold a B.Tech / B.E. in Information Technology.

Additional information

The position is based in Faridabad, India. The offered compensation is INR 12,00,000 to 15,00,000 per year. The hiring details do not specify the number of openings, work arrangement beyond the location, start date, or notice period. No internship duration applies to this role.
