Role Overview
Mi Dulce Hogar is looking for an enthusiastic, technically minded IT Support Assistant at junior level to join its IT function in Australia. This full-time onsite role is designed for early-career candidates who want practical experience supporting everyday technology operations across the business.
What You Will Do
- Deliver first-line assistance for hardware, software, and basic network-related problems.
- Help employees with account creation, access requests, and password resets.
- Set up, configure, and support desktops, laptops, printers, and other connected devices.
- Provide support for Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and commonly used business software.
- Identify and resolve routine technical issues promptly and effectively.
- Record, track, and update incidents and requests in the IT ticketing platform.
- Refer more complex technical matters to senior IT colleagues when needed.
- Assist with IT equipment control, asset records, and stock/inventory checks.
- Support maintenance activities, system patching, and rollout/deployment tasks.
- Prepare clear documentation for technical issues, fixes, and support workflows.
What We’re Looking For
- A diploma or bachelor’s qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
- Basic familiarity with computer hardware, operating systems, and software support.
- Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 tools.
- Some understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP would be beneficial.
- Strong troubleshooting ability and a practical approach to solving problems.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with a helpful customer-service attitude.
- Ability to work on your own as well as collaborate with a wider team.
- Willingness to learn quickly and adapt in a busy IT environment.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational habits.
- Previous internship or entry-level IT support exposure is an added advantage.
