Role Overview
Madre Integrated Engineering is seeking a Material Management Supervisor in Doha, Qatar to oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, and material flow within a military facility environment.
Key Duties
- Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the warehouse and material handling process.
- Control the full movement cycle of materials, including receipt, inspection, storage, release, and outbound dispatch.
- Keep inventory logs accurate and update all stock movement information without delay.
- Apply proper identification methods such as labeling and tagging to preserve traceability.
- Perform physical stock audits, rotating counts, and reconciliation against system records.
- Track inventory levels and arrange replenishment before shortages affect operations.
- Work within the security and procedural requirements of a military environment.
- Prepare and maintain warehouse files, reports, and records required for audits.
- Lead warehouse personnel and allocate daily tasks and priorities.
- Promote safe storage practices, good housekeeping, and compliance with HSE standards.
- Coordinate closely with procurement, logistics, maintenance, and operations teams.
- Investigate stock variances and implement corrective measures.
- Compile inventory summaries and material availability updates.
- Support uninterrupted access to materials needed for operational demands.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in warehouse or materials management.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a military facility.
- A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or a similar discipline.
- Practical understanding of inventory control, warehouse procedures, and material handling.
- Exposure to ERP platforms or warehouse management systems.
- Sound knowledge of safety practices, documentation standards, and audit compliance.
- Proven ability to supervise teams and coordinate across functions.
- Capability to manage controlled, sensitive, or high-value items.
- Effective communication and reporting abilities.
Work Context
This is a full-time, onsite role based in Doha, Qatar.
