Role overview

The company is hiring a seasoned procurement professional with 6 to 8 years of experience in capital expenditure procurement, project-based procurement, and strategic sourcing. The position will oversee end-to-end buying activity for project-driven capex categories such as civil and interior works, MEP and infrastructure, furniture and fixtures, technology and security systems, branding and signage, and statutory compliance needs.

This role begins as an individual contributor and may expand into team leadership as the business grows and operational needs change.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and onboard vendors, then carry out periodic performance reviews.
• Develop and sustain a dependable supplier network for project procurement requirements.
• Track supplier delivery, quality, commercial terms, and service commitments to ensure consistent performance.
• Create and maintain long-term supplier partnerships that support continuity and efficient operations.
• Handle commercial analysis, quotation benchmarking, RFP/RFQ review, and supplier negotiation.
• Obtain competitive pricing, advantageous contractual terms, and strong procurement outcomes.
• Measure procurement savings, avoidable costs, and value gains through structured sourcing initiatives.
• Promote commercial discipline and uncover opportunities for cost reduction across categories.
• Spot commercial, contractual, compliance, supply continuity, and execution risks and take steps to reduce them.
• Carry out supplier due diligence and prepare mitigation actions to limit business and operational exposure.
• Ensure all procurement activity follows internal policies and governance expectations.
• Maintain documentation, audit readiness, and compliance across procurement processes.
• Keep sourcing records, comparative sheets, negotiation notes, MIS reports, contracts, and project closure files accurate and up to date.
• Maintain clean data and system discipline in Oracle Fusion.
• Work closely with Projects, Facilities, Finance, Legal, and Business teams so procurement aligns with scope, budget, and timelines.
• Build effective working relationships across functions to deliver procurement needs on time.
• Offer commercial input and procurement support across the full project lifecycle.
• Evaluate new products, technologies, and sourcing approaches that improve cost, quality, and user experience.
• Support value engineering efforts across project procurement categories.
• Contribute to AI-led adoption and digital procurement improvements to strengthen sourcing decisions and effectiveness.

Eligibility criteria

• Applicants should have 6 to 8 years of relevant background in capex procurement, project procurement, and strategic sourcing.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• A postgraduate qualification or an engineering degree is preferred.
• Previous experience managing at least two team members is preferred, though not compulsory.
• English and Hindi fluency is mandatory.
• Knowledge of regional languages will be considered an advantage.
• Experience in retail, hospitality, QSR, healthcare, wellness, co-working, facilities management, real estate, construction, infrastructure, EPC, or similar multi-site project-led organizations is strongly preferred.
