Role Overview
Orcapod Consulting Services is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to create scalable, high-performing web experiences using React.js, Next.js, and Microsoft Azure. This role is based in Bangalore and is suited to an engineer who can work across modern frontend architecture, API integration, and cloud-based deployment.
Experience required: 10 to 12 years
Employment type: Contractual
Work model: Hybrid
Notice period preference: Immediate joiners up to 15 days preferred
Compensation: 20 to 22 LPA
Core Responsibilities
- Create responsive web applications with React.js and Next.js that are fast, scalable, and maintainable.
- Implement server-side rendering and static site generation where needed to improve performance and delivery.
- Design reusable UI components and continuously refine the user interface for speed and scalability.
- Connect frontend layers with backend APIs and other services.
- Deploy, support, and manage applications on Microsoft Azure using services such as App Services, Static Web Apps, and Functions.
- Work closely with backend, DevOps, and product teams in Agile delivery setups.
- Make sure applications work consistently across browsers and screen sizes.
- Take part in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance improvements.
Required Skills and Experience
- Deep hands-on experience with React.js and the Next.js framework.
- Strong command of JavaScript, including ES6+, and TypeScript.
- Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and UI frameworks such as Tailwind or Bootstrap.
- Solid understanding of SSR, CSR, routing, and state management patterns like Redux or Context API.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs or GraphQL.
- Exposure to Azure cloud services, including App Services, Azure Functions, storage, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Comfortable using Git, CI/CD workflows, and Agile/Scrum practices.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to micro frontend architecture.
- Working knowledge of Node.js or backend-side integration.
- Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Understanding of authentication methods such as OAuth and Azure AD.
- Background in BFSI or enterprise application environments.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline is required.
