Work location and language

This is an on-site role based in Etobicoke, ON. Strong English communication skills are required, both written and verbal.

Key responsibilities

• Support category sourcing plans by conducting market research, demand forecasting, and detailed analysis of data.
• Maintain demand planning information and collaborate with internal teams to improve inventory levels and supplier outcomes.
• Develop and sustain positive supplier partnerships, assist with supplier performance management, and help resolve procurement-related concerns.
• Contribute to sourcing and contract discussions by preparing cost comparisons, benchmarking data, and scenario analyses.
• Track market movements and supply risks, and identify opportunities that strengthen continuity and sourcing approaches.
• Create and update forecasting models, dashboards, and reports that guide operational and procurement decisions.

Candidate profile

The employer is seeking someone with at least 3 years of experience in buying, sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or a similar area. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Food Science, or a related discipline is required. The role also calls for advanced Microsoft Excel ability, along with strong analytical, reporting, and data modeling skills.

In addition, you should be comfortable communicating clearly, building relationships across different teams, and managing several priorities at once in a deadline-driven environment.
