Role overview
We are looking for a seasoned Technical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of demanding technology programmes spanning infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. The position covers the entire project lifecycle, with responsibility for keeping initiatives on schedule, within approved budgets, and aligned to wider business goals. You will partner with technical specialists, business sponsors, and external suppliers to deliver solutions that are secure, robust, and able to scale.
Contract details
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Key responsibilities
- Own and coordinate delivery across infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and broader technology change initiatives.
- Control project scope, timelines, budgets, resource planning, risks, and governance processes.
- Work with internal teams and external vendors to keep delivery moving smoothly.
- Maintain strong stakeholder communication and prepare reporting for senior leadership.
- Build security, compliance, and risk controls into every stage of project execution.
- Contribute to cloud adoption, infrastructure upgrades, and cybersecurity programmes.
- Prepare thorough project documentation and support a clean transition into business-as-usual operations.
Experience and skills
- At least 5 years of experience delivering IT projects in infrastructure, cloud, and/or cybersecurity settings.
- Solid knowledge of cloud platforms, networking, infrastructure, and core security concepts.
- Hands-on experience using Agile, Waterfall, and mixed delivery approaches.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management capability.
- Experience handling budgets, suppliers, risks, and project governance.
- Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile is preferred.
