Role Overview

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective media plans aligned with client briefs and marketing goals. Your remit includes purchasing media space at competitive rates and performing post-campaign analysis to evaluate effectiveness. You'll manage day-to-day client relationships for assigned accounts and contribute actively to team and agency-wide initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement media strategies that align with advertising and marketing objectives.
• Negotiate and purchase media space ensuring cost-effective deals.
• Conduct thorough post-campaign evaluations to measure success and impact.
• Maintain strong client relations by managing communications and project progress.
• Engage collaboratively within the wider agency through participation in shared accounts and initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of two years' experience with robust knowledge of media and the New Zealand media market.
• Familiarity with media terminology and the application of various media channels.
• Understanding of planning and trading workflows across multiple media platforms.
• Basic awareness of market dynamics including supply and demand, modeling tools, and their influence on negotiation.
• Ability to negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes effectively.
• Confidence in presenting to internal teams and clients.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Pegasus, Arianna, and TV Map software.
• Analytical skills to investigate anomalies and validate data accuracy based on experience.
• Strong multitasking ability with effective prioritization to meet deadlines.
