Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee the financial operations of our school in Doha, Qatar. This temporary position involves managing accurate and compliant financial processes, establishing financial policies, monitoring financial health, and supporting finance staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial activities of the school to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant financial laws and regulations.
- Create and enforce financial policies and procedures tailored to school needs.
- Regularly track and report financial performance metrics.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team within the school.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines is mandatory.
- At least five years of proven experience in financial management roles.
- Professional accounting certifications are preferred and advantageous.
- Strong analytical and financial management expertise.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable financial compliance requirements.
