About the Role
Are you coming from a private enterprise assurance background looking to gain significant exposure to public company clients? This Assistant Controller position is crafted for individuals keen to enhance their financial reporting experience with pubco clients or aspire to become a Controller in the industry. You will manage specific client accounts across diverse sectors such as e-commerce, retail, manufacturing, cannabis, mining, and biotechnology.
Your duties will encompass preparing working papers, supervising the full cycle of accounting processes, and undertaking various unique ad hoc client projects. The position encourages independent work, a continuous learning mindset, and professional growth without demanding excessively long hours.

Candidate Requirements
- Pursued designation as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).
- Experience in assurance within a public accounting firm.
- Strong relationship-building skills, fostering open communication.
- Highly meticulous with a passion for resolving complex reconciliation issues.

Compensation
