Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Support the development, maintenance, and evolution of Metricon's product range from the Mt Waverley office.
- Collaborate with Product Designers and cross-functional teams to develop new and existing designs, transforming concepts into detailed documentation.
- Assist in creating and documenting home designs, contributing to floorplans, facades, site plans, internal layouts, and design options.
- Produce precise and comprehensive design documents aligned with project briefs and schedules.
- Participate in product management efforts for current and new design initiatives.
- Maintain strong collaboration to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of Metricon's product suite and design standards.
- Keep updated with relevant building codes, standards, and approval processes.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated passion for residential architecture and improving living environments.
- Relevant qualifications in Building Design, Drafting, or related disciplines.
- At least three years of experience in design or drafting roles.
- Experience in volume residential construction is highly desirable.
- Proficient in Revit or comparable CAD software.
- Good understanding of building codes and planning regulations.
- Strong communication abilities and a teamwork-oriented attitude.
- Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and develop professionally.
