Role Overview

The Client Engagement Manager plays a vital role in driving future growth by supporting the sales function at the initial stage. This position involves preparing and qualifying prospect data, identifying decision-makers, and monitoring future tender opportunities. The resulting database serves as a strategic asset to the sales team, enabling well-timed and targeted outreach efforts in line with upcoming opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure high-quality prospect and account data by reviewing, cleansing, and standardising information to keep CRM systems accurate and up-to-date.
• Conduct thorough research to identify key contacts and decision-makers within target organisations, ensuring the sales team has reliable communication points.
• Monitor industry tender portals and procurement notices to track upcoming tender release and renewal dates.
• Compile and organise cleaned data, key contacts, and tender timelines into an accessible, structured sales pipeline resource.
• Collaborate closely with Sales Leads and the Commercial Director to align priorities and provide timely insights for planning sales outreach strategies.

Candidate Profile

• Proven ability in research and data gathering, paying close attention to detail.
• Experience using CRM platforms and managing prospect/account databases.
• Skills in data cleaning, data organisation, and record keeping.
• Capability to research organisational structures and identify relevant contact persons.
• Knowledge of tender tracking methods or readiness to learn tender portals and procurement systems.
• Effective communication skills for coordination with sales teams.
• Self-driven, organised, and comfortable handling repetitive and detail-oriented tasks independently.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time role requiring 37.5 hours per week, with work carried out remotely from the UK.

Salary and Benefits

The salary offered can go up to £35,000 per year, contingent on experience.
