Creative Development Assistant - Amazon Studios and Amazon MGM Studios

Role Overview

Amazon Studios is searching for a proactive and detail-oriented Creative Development Assistant to provide comprehensive support to senior executives within the Amazon MGM Studios ongoing series development team. This role demands excellent multitasking abilities and adherence to strict deadlines, ensuring smooth administrative operations under executive guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver general administrative assistance, including managing a high volume of phone calls, coordinating call rollouts, handling extensive calendar scheduling, and managing filing and copying tasks.
• Organize meetings for department executives, maintain schedules, scripts, master lists, and associated documentation for all current shows and movies.
• Maintain familiarity with key figures in the creative community to support executive coordination.
• Demonstrate a positive mindset and collaborate effectively as a team member.
• Assist with special projects as necessitated by evolving business needs.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an assistant within a studio or production company, or at least 1 year in a creative executive role.
• Proven ability to evaluate industry talent and track market trends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience managing confidential information responsibly.
• Background working as an assistant in an unscripted department within an agency, studio, or unscripted production company.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the digital video industry landscape.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary ranges from $71,600 to $125,400 dependent on experience, qualifications, and location, complemented by sign-on bonuses and restricted stock units (RSUs).
