Data Analyst

About the Role

We are collaborating with an innovative SaaS company to hire a Data Analyst for their close-knit product team based in Central Bristol. This role is hybrid, requiring onsite presence three days a week.

This position focuses more on solving complex data challenges than on heavy reporting duties. It suits someone skilled at enhancing data quality and using SQL and Python to provide reliable and accurate data to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve issues related to data quality.
• Develop SQL queries to validate and troubleshoot data problems.
• Automate workflows and data quality checks through Python scripting.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Customer Success teams.
• Assist with customer data integrations and reporting needs.
• Lead initiatives to enhance data processes across the organization.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of three years' experience as a Data Analyst.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and validation.
• Working knowledge of Python programming.
• Experience with data validation procedures or ETL processes.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and clear communication skills.

Additional Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Git version control system.
• Understanding of APIs and data modeling languages such as dbt, LookML, or Cube.
• Exposure to financial data is considered an advantage.

Compensation and Work Arrangement

The position offers an annual salary ranging from £45,000 to £50,000 along with a performance bonus and excellent benefits. The work location is Central Bristol with a hybrid schedule requiring three days onsite per week.
