Join a team at Migration Research to Policy Co-Lab as an entry/junior Data Analyst based in Australia. This full-time onsite role is suited to someone who enjoys working with data, spotting patterns, and turning information into practical insights that support better decisions.

What You’ll Do

• Gather data from multiple sources, then clean and prepare it for analysis.
• Examine datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and useful findings.
• Convert complicated information into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and visual presentations for stakeholders.
• Run checks to confirm data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Track business metrics and highlight changes or areas that could be improved.
• Contribute to analytics projects and recurring reporting work.
• Work closely with different teams to understand their analytical needs and deliver appropriate solutions.
• Keep records of data workflows, reporting outputs, and analysis methods up to date.

What We’re Looking For

• A strong analytical approach with careful attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Excel, and core data analysis methods.
• Exposure to visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar software would be an advantage.
• Understanding of basic statistics and business reporting concepts.
