Data Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a driven Data Engineer with 2 to 3 years of experience to support our data team. This role focuses on building and supporting dependable data pipelines, working across major cloud environments such as Alicloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and making sure data is integrated, stored, and made available efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and maintain ETL workflows that can handle both structured and unstructured information from multiple sources.
• Set up automation for data movement so workflows run smoothly across different systems and platforms.
• Partner with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver suitable data solutions.
• Convert business goals and requirements into technical plans for pipelines, storage, and processing architecture.
• Keep accurate documentation for pipelines, data warehouse design, and governance procedures.
• Follow data governance rules and standards, with attention to data security and privacy in coordination with security and governance teams.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
• 2 to 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with practical exposure to large-scale data warehouse environments.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively and contribute as a team member across internal and external groups.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Alicloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Solid understanding of data pipeline development, integration, storage, and accessibility.
