Role Overview

The company is seeking a driven Senior Data Scientist to join the core Platform Team based in Austin, Texas. This role involves developing and refining AI models that enable proactive intelligence through seamless collaboration between humans and AI. The position offers a unique chance to lead innovation in intelligent interaction technologies, collaborating with engineering and scientific teams to build, deploy, and optimize the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, and enhance machine learning models to interpret user intent, forecast workflow requirements, and improve human-AI cooperation, incorporating novel algorithms and diverse data sources.
• Conduct extensive data mining, cleaning, and feature engineering on large-scale interaction datasets to extract meaningful insights related to human-AI collaboration.
• Work closely with engineering teams for the deployment, ongoing monitoring, and continuous improvement of production ML models.
• Stay current with cutting-edge research in machine learning, data science, and human-computer interaction, applying relevant innovations to the platform.
• Plan and execute rigorous experimentation and A/B testing to validate new models and features, refining user experience and collaboration effectiveness.
• Communicate complex technical results clearly to varied audiences and collaborate effectively with engineers, researchers, and product stakeholders.
• Contribute to ensuring model integration, scalability, and efficiency within the overall platform architecture.
• Analyze interaction data proactively to anticipate user needs and deliver actionable intelligence in conjunction with AI systems.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in applied science, data science, or machine learning engineering roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline.
• Advanced understanding of machine learning algorithms, including regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning techniques.
• Proficient programming skills in Python and experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Expertise in data mining, cleansing, and feature engineering.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and collaborative skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in a related technical field (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics).
• Experience with cloud computing environments including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Additional Details

The recruitment process is handled internally; external recruitment agencies are not being considered. The pay range for this role is $110,000 to $210,000 USD annually.
