About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Document Controller to join our team in Perth, supporting document management for projects and organizational activities in a dynamic and team-oriented environment. This role is essential for ensuring that all project documentation is accurately handled, compliant with standards, and timely.
This position is a full-time parental leave cover lasting between 12 and 14 months.
Key Duties
- Oversee and maintain project document control systems, including registers and procedures, to guarantee accurate, compliant, and prompt document management.
- Coordinate the distribution, tracking, filing, archiving, and retrieval of project-related documents, drawings, and records.
- Maintain control over document revisions, approvals, transmittals, and project records with precision.
- Manage and support document management systems by providing guidance, training, and assistance to project teams, vendors, and consultants.
- Monitor document workflows to detect inconsistencies and implement necessary corrective measures to uphold data integrity.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts aimed at enhancing document control processes, quality systems, and team productivity.
- Deliver document control support across multiple projects and collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and information management.
Candidate Profile
- At least 3 years of experience as a Document Controller, preferably within engineering, construction, or project-focused settings.
- Highly detail-oriented and organised in approach to tasks.
- Proficient with document management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong communication skills coupled with a cooperative and team-oriented attitude.
- Capable of juggling multiple priorities while adhering to strict deadlines.
