Equipment Operative

Overview

This position involves the safe and efficient handling and operation of equipment to maintain productivity and safety standards. The operative is responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnosing and resolving technical faults, and flagging any equipment failures or security issues promptly.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and service equipment following established safety guidelines and company protocols.
• Continuously monitor equipment performance and promptly troubleshoot any technical problems, maintaining detailed records of all issues encountered.
• Execute regular preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment remains in optimal working condition.
• Report any occurrences of equipment malfunction or security breaches immediately.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Possession of a valid LF forklift license, due to classification as a high-risk role.
