About Urban Parents Club
Urban Parents Club facilitates urban families in securing dependable childcare by connecting them with trained and verified nannies. The platform leverages technology, field operations, community ties, and recruitment networks to maintain a trusted supply of childcare professionals.
Role Overview
This full-time field recruiter position is centered on sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding nannies for the organization. It requires extensive on-ground activity including travel within designated areas to engage potential candidates via communities, referrals, NGOs, and agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively seek nanny candidates through field visits, referrals, community contacts, and agencies.
- Visit neighborhoods and locations rich in nanny potential to strengthen local sourcing networks.
- Clearly communicate job details including compensation, working conditions, and opportunities available.
- Conduct initial eligibility assessments focusing on experience, skills, location, availability, and preferences.
- Accurately document candidate details and maintain updated records.
- Coordinate interview scheduling, training sessions, background verification, and onboarding procedures.
- Maintain persistent follow-up to ensure candidates successfully join.
- Build and maintain a continuous pipeline of qualified nanny candidates aligned with hiring needs.
- Collaborate with Demand and Supply teams to keep abreast of urgent and location-specific staffing requirements.
- Track and report key recruitment metrics including sourcing numbers, interviews conducted, selections, and joining results.
- Cultivate constructive partnerships with local agents, NGOs, PG owners, and other stakeholders.
- Explore and develop new sourcing areas and channels to enhance candidate pool quality and volume.
- Support urgent hiring initiatives and local recruitment campaigns promptly.
- Provide ongoing feedback from the field regarding salary trends, candidate availability, competition, and hiring conditions.
Candidate Qualifications
- Proven experience in field recruitment or candidate sourcing notably in community-based environments.
- Excellent communication skills to establish trust and rapport with candidates and partners.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently within assigned geographic zones.
- Strong persistence and follow-up skills to convert candidate interest into onboarding.
- Basic knowledge of recruitment workflows including screening and onboarding.
- Capability to work with minimal supervision and achieve recruitment targets regularly.
- Familiarity with digital tools such as Excel or Google Sheets for maintaining candidate data.
- Preferable local community knowledge and connections.
- Experience in staffing, field sales, domestic help hiring, NGO work, or similar community sourcing roles is advantageous.
- Educational qualifications like a diploma or degree are preferred but not mandatory with relevant field experience.
Performance Indicators
- Quantity and quality of qualified nanny candidates sourced.
- Number of candidates successfully interviewed and selected.
- Onboarding success and candidate retention rates.
- Responsiveness to urgent and location-specific hiring demands.
- Effectiveness in developing sustainable local recruitment networks and partnerships.
