Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily finance operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial processing.
- Enhance collections processes to improve cash flow and minimize overdue balances.
- Assess and refine existing workflows, implementing initiatives to elevate efficiency, precision, and control mechanisms.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and reconciliations to underpin informed business decisions.
- Support finance system upgrades, including testing and deployment of new functionalities.
- Assist in developing and maintaining strong financial controls and standardized operating procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot operational challenges and improve finance processes.
- Identify and advocate for opportunities to streamline finance operations and contribute to transformation efforts.
Qualifications and Experience
- Part-qualified accountant status (such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) or equivalent financial certification.
- Between 2 and 4 years of experience in finance operations, analyst roles, or as an assistant accountant.
- Excellent organizational aptitude with a focus on process improvement and structure enhancement.
- Background in supporting collections, account administration, accounts payable/receivable, or other finance operations responsibilities.
- Familiarity with finance systems, ERP platforms, and involvement in process improvement or transformation projects is a plus.
- Strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and proven ability to build productive relationships within a business environment.
Additional Information
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is critical to supporting ongoing finance operations and driving business-wide continuous improvement initiatives. The position is based in Dublin City Centre, operating on a hybrid model with 2-3 days per week onsite. The salary is €50,000 annually, supplemented by benefits.
