Role Overview

The Financial Reporting Manager leads the reporting function at Moët Hennessy USA, overseeing all legal entity financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities to ensure precise and appropriate profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow information. This position requires collaboration with accounting and operations teams and adherence to deadlines, accuracy standards, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise all legal-entity reporting including reviewing and approving profit & loss and balance sheet statements, plus supplementary schedules before submission to Group Consolidation.
  • Coordinate month-end closing responsibilities and deadlines in partnership with Accounting and Inventory Managers, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Oversee the Reporting Analyst’s preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial data, reviewing and approving related schedules and analyses.
  • Conduct ongoing financial data reviews during reporting periods and coordinate corrections as necessary.
  • Manage legal-entity budgeting and forecasting including preparing and approving key financial schedules.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly cash flow reporting and analysis, collaborating with accounting teams to manage year-end cash requirements.
  • Administer the Vendor Master process, oversee vendor applications, banking changes, and maintain accurate records.
  • Continuously analyze vendor master data to identify and resolve issues, provide escalation support, and work with stakeholders.
  • Drive system updates and training implementation; improve processes by applying business insights and lead reporting aspects of new product and system launches.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls; prepare documentation and audit schedules working closely with internal auditors and the Controller.
  • Collaborate with leadership to share vision and motivate the team; support cross-functional teamwork.
  • Provide managerial leadership, mentoring, and development opportunities for the Reporting Analyst.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience a plus.
  • 5-7 years’ experience in accounting or finance with strong technical expertise.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in nurturing talent within dynamic and diverse environments.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to operate independently and prioritize flexibly.
  • Commercial acumen with capability to act as a business partner offering solutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels.
