Orbital Critical Systems, part of the CAF Group, specializes in safety-critical software solutions for aerospace, defense, and transportation sectors. We are actively seeking Flight Test Engineers to join our on-site teams working on Airbus projects across Germany.
Locations
Opportunities are available at multiple sites including Manching, Donauwörth, Finkenwerder, and other locations throughout Germany.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and perform avionics ground and flight testing, which includes creating and implementing test programs and procedures.
- Observe and evaluate aircraft test data; compile reports detailing outcomes and any discrepancies encountered.
- Contribute to the enhancement and development of tools for analyzing test data.
- Work in close cooperation with design, development, and testing teams within Airbus Defence and Space.
Candidate Profile
- Academic qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a similar discipline.
- Familiarity with FPGA development and relevant design tools is advantageous; backgrounds from various technological areas are welcomed.
- Proficiency in English at B2 level or higher; knowledge of German is highly desirable.
- Strong enthusiasm for advancing expertise in flight test instrumentation and safety-critical operational settings.
