Role Overview

The Freight Broker role, stationed in Chandigarh, India, involves full-time, on-site work. The primary duties include sourcing and securing freight, negotiating carrier rates, and overseeing the entire shipment lifecycle across North America. Daily tasks focus on fostering strong relationships with customers and carriers, managing dispatch operations, and tracking shipments to confirm timely and cost-efficient deliveries. Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Experience and expertise in freight brokerage, including carrier sourcing and rate negotiation.
• Strong customer service skills to effectively manage inquiries and maintain long-term relationships.
• Dispatching knowledge comprising load planning, scheduling, and shipment tracking.
• Account management capabilities to handle client portfolios and support business development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; additional languages are a plus.
